What is so nice about having another Chihuahua breeder living 2 miles from you???? Visiting when she has puppies!!!! The problem is they are so darn cute I want to take them all home with me.

I like to sneak into her bedroom and pick each one up. Then I kiss and cuddle it. I just can't help myself. And Lucy did us proud. Such beautiful pups with such unusual colourations.

Chica's Tummy Bump

Chica is pregnant but does she have a tummy???? I'm not sure. After a whole month of pregnancy she doesn't even look pregnant!!! So I will show you a before pic (light pink) and a now pics (darker pink). You tell me!!!! I see a bump, but then again maybe I don't.

petsmart

I went to Petsmart to get dog food and some special food for Chica. It is a sausage roll that is a complete meal. She loves it!!

So I saw this snuggys ( nerdy blankets you put your arms through) but they are for dogs and I had to have one. I bought it home and tried it on a dog. Yes it fit. As I took it off to see if it would fit someone else I noticed a hole... darn it. I just got the thing... I also noticed the material wasn't that good.

So I made my own. Only made one so far but my sewing is way superior over the store brand and I have better polartec too!!! I know mine will last a lot longer and I can make sure it fits to each dog!

puppy walks

Pepe and Snickie went walking with me last night. And I have to wonder.... why does Pepe have to go up every bodies driveway and come down again? AND WHY do they walk single file????

Chica goes on separate walks. I want to make sure she is safe cause of her pregnancy. This way if a large dog comes by I can quickly pick her up. She also doesn't walk as far as the others now.

Did I mention she is sporting a little baby bump? Oh it is so cute and tiny!!!

Pepe Le Pew is for sale

Yes, I have gone back and forth on this one for a long time. Not sure if I really want to give him up or not. But the right person will come a long and I think it will be ok. He has the sweetest personality and is very laid back. He licks big dogs when we go out walking, and sits on my lap when I am on the computer. A real love bug.

Are you the right family for him??? If you think so write me a note and tell me about you. He is to be a pet in a home, and will come with a neuter contract.

pet visits

Daisy and Snickie just adore each other. Daisy spent the whole weekend with us and was such a delight. She was scared of the cats and would burrow into me when a cat jumped onto the sofa or bed with us. She also liked being in bed with me when I had a bad headache Saturday and spent the am snuggling with them.

Puppy visit

Daisy (from chihuahuacrazy.com) came to visit today. She may stay a couple of days with her sister Snickie. We have to see if they behave themselves. Anyways, Snickie and Daisy are ganging up on Pepe!!! It is so funny to watch. And he is lovin it!!!

cats

Speaking of cats, I may be allergic to them. Coco likes to sleep on top of my head at night. Compfy for her, not so much for me. Anyways, I have been breaking out on my face. Figures it has to be on my face.... those nights I kick her out I don't have so many.

Not much going on

Not much going on around here. I have been ill and laying down on the sofa and in bed a lot. At least my pups have been with me the whole time. They make great hot water bottles. Though they like to wiggle off to other areas of my bed and I have to pull them back to where I want them. They can sense I haven't been up to par and have been my constant companions. And my husband wonders why I prefer them to our cats.

Penny

Well Penny loves Mattie. Everytime Mattie comes into the room Penny is on top of her. Then she nestles into Mattie's lap and falls asleep. Mattie is very happy about this.

Play time

Jesse's puppies are doing very well over here. They are getting into the rhythm of things. This morning they went outside, ate and then it was play time. They loved playing with all the different toys we have. One of the favourites is a metallic cat toy that makes lots of crinkly noises. Penny (white with red spots) even took on Chica the Diva and top dog. WOW. That was gutsy!!!

Puppy Sitting

Puppy sitting is one of my favourite things to do. I have Jesse's pups over here for the weekend. Mia and Penny. Mia is one of Chica's puppies. She is 5 months old and tiny. She is half the size of Pepe... WOW. Penny is 2 months old. I think she will get bigger then Mia when she is all grown.

Pepe loves those two. He chases them around and around. Then he licks them. Now they are on my lap all pooped out.

Pepe the carrot eater.

Today as I was cooking I cut three pieces of carrot. One for each dog. Pepe ate them all. He is quite the carrot pig!!! He did share a bit of carrot with Chica later....

Play date at my house

Here we go again. Another play date. I even posted videos on youtube. Ana came over with her three- Canella, Daisy and Yogi Bear (the baby) and Karen came with her two new pups. All the doggies played and we chatted.

Those babies are adorable. So tiny at 8 weeks old. I can't believe that they are so little. WOW. They are for sale at floridachi.com but you better get there before me.... grin.

Play date at Kelly's house

Pepe is such a happy go lucky sort of dog. I took him over to Kelly's house and he got to play with a whole ton of cute pups. They are all looking for homes... Pepe wanted to take Luigi home with him. Those two had so much fun together

Sick days and Chihuahuas

Katie isn't feeling so well today. I gave her a bath and put her to bed with Snickie. Snickie is Katie's dog and Katie loves her very much. Now Katie is fast asleep. Chihuahuas seem to be the perfect companion for sick people. They snuggle with you and act as a hot water bottle. The comfort they also give is worth a million.
