Chica and Pepsi

It is early days yet, but Pepsi and Chica are working hard at becoming parents.  As you know, Pepsi has a litter due the end of April with Angel.  His first date on Valentine's Day.  This litter should come around the end of May if all goes well.

I just can't wait to see what he will produce.

First Bath

Tito was playing in the garden on the wet grass and got ALL WET.  Duh!!  It is nice and warm out so I thought it was ok.  BUT he got a little dirty too.  So in the bath he went.  I would feel sorry for him but he was so cute.

Huey goes home

Today was the day for Huey to go home.  He had his shots in the morning and I got his paper work ready.  Jennifer came over with her daughter and a friend.  Now Jennifer and I agreed on the phone to prank her daughter....  So she comes in and tells me she wants to bring him home today.  I tell her no, that the vet says at least one more week at home, maybe two.  She says that he is now 8 weeks old and legally hers.  I tell her I am so sorry.  Then she says she wants her deposit back.  I tell her fine and leave the room.  This is when her daughter starts getting upset, telling her Mum she must have the puppy.  Well we did break it to her in the end when I handed an envelope as the check, and Jennifer starts to roar with laughter.  Her daughter was not happy with us, and didn't think it was funny.

I gave him a bath, Mattie took a pic.  not so good but you can see how cute his back his!!!  They went home and will give me an update tonight.

The Wheelbarrow

We have been working on putting up a new fence.  Any how, there is a wheel barrow in the back garden.  My husband puts the dirt in it from the post holes.  Pepsi and Chica like that dirt!!  One of my daughters caught them in it and took these shots!  I can just imagine what these two are thinking!!!  "we are just sunbathing", "WE didn't do it", " Hey Chica, act like we are just sitting here doing nothing!"

Bath time

Pepsi's fur is so thick that I find it hard to get him wet enough for his shower.  I put him in the kitchen sink and use the spray nozzle to shower him. So nowadays he gets both a shower and a bath.  I fill the sink with warm water and stick him in, then shower the top of him with the spray nozzle.  It takes longer with him to get his fur wet enough to suds him up.  But it is worth it in the end because he smells so good and he is so fluffy and cute.

In the garden

WE played in the garden yesterday.  It was fun.  The pups took to it immediately.

New digs

Looks as if Milky Way can climb out of the puppy pool.  Didn't think they would manage it because they are so small.  But when you want to see the world and are adventurous I guess you find a way.  So out with the puppy pool and in with the crate.  I have put newspaper down on the tile and the crate sits on top.  So they have a cozy den to sleep in.  Hopefully, they will use the paper as their bathroom.  Also, food and water is set up.  I have the material up over the one side of the pen because their is a door there.  I do not want them to catch a draft.  They also have toys to play with!!

The List...... the soap opera of Pepsi Cola

 We have been working very hard over here with Pepsi Cola and it is paying off.

#2 howling in the wee hours of the am....getting better

#4  potty outside- he still goes on the paper at night. still working on this...

#5 eating poop and drinking peeps. Still have no clue on this one.

#6 running out the door and disappearing.  He runs out into the yard then stops when I call him.  Much better but still working on it.
