Wheel chair blues

We are going around Disney Quest today due to the rain. Everyone and his dog were there too. That place has so many narrow corridors, tight bends and carpet. Every wheel chair dudes nightmare. Funny how difficult bathroom doors are to navigate. I swear it took me a whole minute trying to get into the ladies room and then a whole minute trying to get out.

So we are going through Downtown Disney. There is an area called Paradise Island. A ramp up and a ramp down. Well, my husband thinks it would be funny to jog me down the ramp. Now it is a steep ramp... I am screaming, he is laughing, my girls are laughing, and everyone else, well....... they were laughing.

Holidays

We decided to go to the theme parks for a few days. So Snicker Doodles went to Ana's house while we are away, and Chica plus babies stay at the house. Jessie will watch over them, and the cats, and the gerbils, and the plants..... while we are gone. She will use this time to bond with Jetta, who will soon be her baby.

We are looking forward to hanging by a pool and going around Disney. I will be in a wheel chair as I still have a broken toe. I was looking forward to the exercise but at least we get front of the line privileges. Nice to have one advantage to this hassle.

Ouch! My toe hurts.

I have had a broken toe now for 8 weeks. First 6 weeks I walked on it, even though it was taped. Well, today I tripped over something and re-injured it. While I have been in bed today My husband has been feeding Chica chunks of beef from the stew I made yesterday. She in turn takes in to the pups to feed them. it is very sweet to watch.

puppies

Jetta and Monica are 6 weeks old now. Only 2 weeks before they start leaving the nest. They are so cute. They hop around like excited bunnies. That is the only way I can explain it, and they are so happy to see me in the morning. Their play sessions are getting longer and longer; and they are eating puppy food. I can't believe they will be gone soon.

I am tired, I stayed up thinking of a good dog name for the new one coming in. Just can't think of one. Maybe, I'll have to wait and see what he is like in person.

Stud for my girls

Well, we went out to see the other dog we are interested in this morning. Very cute with a big chihuahua head. Short coat black with white markings. My friend, Ana, came with us and asked me if I was going to hang out there all day. Probably. My girls immediately said they wanted him. I put down a deposit and we will go back at the end of next week to pick him up. We have a small holiday to go on and don't want to leave him in my house without me. I have a friend who will watch my other doggies, cats, gerbils and keep everything good to go while I'm gone.

He is going to be a very happy guy with two girls all to himself. And I'm not sure if his little feet will get to touch the ground.. at least for a few days. He is going to be one spoiled little boy. (oops, did I say that out loud)

choices to make

Wow. So I went to figgyschihuahuas.com today and Five Aces is so cute. So do I get him or do I get the other pup I see tomorrow? It will be hard to choose. Five Aces is also black and white but he is a long hair. very nice personality too. He will be small enough for my girls and a good price. I will have to think very carefully about my decision.

oh, and this is odd. I met another nice lady and now have three people all wanting Jetta. Ok she is all black which is apparently rare and long haired and small. The one lady asked if my friend had paid a deposit yet today, and if not she'll come tonight with the full amount. WOW.

Boyfriend

I have two little girls. very cute. AND I have been looking for a little boy. Somebody with a big old apple head. Small enough for my girls who are only 3.6lbs. I think I have found him. He is Black with white markings and oh so cute. Apparently, he has a sweet personality. So, I will go on Friday to check him out. If all goes well we will have another baby to love and spoil. And my girls will have a man!!!! I really hope this works out.

puppy bags

I purchased a cute yet practical soft sided bag for Monica to travel in when she goes home. Her new Dad would like her to get used to it before the time comes. So at 5 1/2 weeks I put her in with her sister. They are so cute, all nestled up together. I think she will be very happy in her new digs before her aeroplane ride.

I have put Jetta up for sale on puppyfind.com. I found some cute pics of her and her parents. she is such a cute dog and so small. I hope to find her a wonderful family.

Aeroplanes and chihuahuas

My 5 week chihuahua has been sold and I needed to work out the flight details. Oh what fun. Well, the man I was speaking with was rude and not patient at all. All I wanted was to make sure Monica would be on the return flight with her new owner. Well, after an hour of my time and plopping down the credit card, I did get conformation that she is on the flight. I just wonder why he had to make it so difficult.

Jetta, my other cute chi for sale, is still looking for a home. I sort of want to keep her myself. I think that is the trouble of breeding chihuahuas. You want to keep them all.
