Mia came to visit

Mia is from Chica's first litter.  She is a long coat, black beauty !!!Lucky for me she lives down the road so I get to see her often.  She came over to play and we soon found out she is in heat... Pepsi followed her around like a love sick pup!!  Here are some cute pix.

As you know I have been going to professional photographer. I recommend this for those of you that are totally in love with your pets. Kelly captures something I cannot. AND I thought I was a pretty good picture taker!!

Mia, who is one of Chica's daughters went for a session. Very wiggly little thing but Kelly did her magic. Now Jessie has some beautiful pix of her new baby. It was fun dressing her up as well.

I think I may just take my Chica's next litter over for more cute pix..... then I can give their new owners a professional photo with their little darling.

Puppy playdate

Mia came over to play with us. She hasn't grown much. I think she will remain very small. I guess we have to wait and see. Chica loves to see her daughter and I love to cuddle her too. Pepe and Mia adore each other. They play the most. Snicker Doodles is the runner up for playing.

Chica and Mia

We went for a walk in the rain this evening, all the way to Mia's house. Mattie held Chica and Snickie for me as I was holding the carrier and an umbrella. Pepe stayed home, out of the rain. We all got to Mia's house and Nacho came to the door to great us.

As soon as Chica saw Mia she went into Mother mode. She was barking and growling at Nacho and Snickie. She played with Mia and protected her. It was very interesting to behold.

And after we left, Chica was friendly again with Snickie. It was amazing. She turned from psycho Mama to friendly pal.

Petsmart

We went to Petsmart today looking for an exercise pen. Of course they are the most expensive and I'll have to buy online. Though I will give them a chance to go with the price I found online.

I did find a cat bed for $5 though. It is black and Chica can go inside of it. Even Mia came over and played with the new cat bed. It has two toys attached. Chica and Pepe are fighting over them. very cute.

Pepe Le Pew seems to like his new collar even though it is huge on him. Oh well. I did buy the smallest size and made some extra holes.

Jobs and dogs

So I have finally found a name I think is cute enough for our new boy... have you ever seen the cartoon with the cute little skunk who falls in love with a cat.... Pepe Le Pew.

Today was so busy... and it isn't even over yet. This morning Jesse came over and we went to the vet. The puppies got their shots etc. They weighed in at 1.4 lbs at 8 weeks. Snickie was left there for her tooth extraction. We came home gave Mia her first bath and cut her nails. Gave Pepe and Chica baths.... ate lunch. Went to Jesse's house to help her meet Nacho (her chi). Cut his nails. Went to Albertsons and the post office. Soon we are going to a Dr. apt then we will pick up Snickie.

Did I leave anything out??? I am so confused.

puppies

Jetta and Monica are 6 weeks old now. Only 2 weeks before they start leaving the nest. They are so cute. They hop around like excited bunnies. That is the only way I can explain it, and they are so happy to see me in the morning. Their play sessions are getting longer and longer; and they are eating puppy food. I can't believe they will be gone soon.

I am tired, I stayed up thinking of a good dog name for the new one coming in. Just can't think of one. Maybe, I'll have to wait and see what he is like in person.

puppy bags

I purchased a cute yet practical soft sided bag for Monica to travel in when she goes home. Her new Dad would like her to get used to it before the time comes. So at 5 1/2 weeks I put her in with her sister. They are so cute, all nestled up together. I think she will be very happy in her new digs before her aeroplane ride.

I have put Jetta up for sale on puppyfind.com. I found some cute pics of her and her parents. she is such a cute dog and so small. I hope to find her a wonderful family.
